History

XI Technologies embarked on a pilot project involving 5 major operators in 2007.

Officially launched by XI in 2009, the TourXchange was developed with a primary goal of creating a vast database of digital tour data, a source of information that is considered critical to drilling in this industry.

Members all shared the belief that through better access to information, efficient means of interpretation, fact based decision could be made using drilling data to broaden their scope of analysis.

Those who helped pioneer the TourXchange trusted XI to create the original product offers on this data and safeguard their commitment to creating this library.  With that XI created the Drilling Database to allow further innovation.
